NCPC workshop on boiler technology

A 10-day workshop titled ‘Boiler technology learning and networking event for professionals in thermal energy arena’ has been scheduled from 27 March to be held on 10 consecutive Fridays. It will cater to all engineers and technical persons engaging in thermal energy applications in their respective work places. The objective of this training workshop is to enhance capacity amongst professionals in the thermal energy utilising sector on integrating ‘boiler technology’ through giving in-depth knowledge of boilers, steam generation and distribution that could guide and drive to distribute generated steam properly and efficiently by minimising losses in order to achieve further economic benefits. A well trained workforce is an asset to a company and will definitely enhance the profitability of the business, making it an investment for the industry. The training will cover a wide range of topics such as steam boilers, combustion and fuel, boiler performance evaluation, boiler failures and steam distribution.
