Papyrus Corporation has announced the appointment of professional marketer Manoj Kumar Moses as the new Business Head of Papyrus Papers, the Corporation’s Fine and Specialty Papers Company, effective 24 March.
Manoj, who has more than 20 years of management exposure in a 24-year career in sales and marketing, has worked for several reputed multinational and local organisations in Sri Lanka and overseas, and was prior to his appointment with Papyrus, the Regional Manager at Almarai Company, Saudi Arabia, the largest integrated Dairy company in the world handling dairy, food and beverage and bakery.
A Chartered Marketer of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), UK, Manoj holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from CIM UK. He is a member of CIM UK and of the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) and is a Life Member of the Organisation of Professional Associations of Sri Lanka. He has received extensive training in strategic planning, management and leadership from renowned professional training institutes in the UK and USA.
Among the key positions he has held in Sri Lanka are Head of Marketing at Serendib Flour Mills and Business Manager, AB Mauri Lanka, Sri Lanka, a segment of Associated British Foods PLC UK.
Announcing the appointment, Ashan Abeyesundere, Chairman and CEO of Papyrus Corporation said: “Manoj has had extensive exposure to sales and marketing in diverse sectors of business and will give leadership to the consolidation of the long-standing market leadership that Papyrus Papers has commanded in the fine and specialty papers segments.
