New CFO and main Board Directors appointed at Baur’s

A. Baur & Co. Ltd., established in 1897 yesterday announced the appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer and two main Board Directors.

Jayendran Setukavalar joined the company in 1990 and acted as Finance Director ever since. Throughout his career with the company, he has proven to be a highly intelligent and dedicated leader. In recognition of his long service and in view of the expansion of the company, he has been appointed Chief Financial Officer from 1 May 2012.

Nishantha Weerasinghe, Alternate Director also joined the company in 1990 and took over the departmental responsibility of the healthcare division in 2011. Very target-oriented, he will now fill the vacancy on the main board of the company to which he is being appointed from 1 August 2012.

Daniel Cochard is joining A. Baur & Co. (Pvt.) Ltd. from 1 August 2012 as a Director. Cochard has extensive experience in marketing and has acted as regional head in Asia for a large company prior to joining Baurs. He will be responsible for new projects, business development and expansion of the regional business.
