New Executive Director/Deputy MD at Dipped Products

Rohan Kirti Witanachchi has been appointed as an Executive Director/Deputy Managing Director at Dipped Products Plc with effect from 1 January 2014.
Witanachichi is a Mechanical Engineering (Honours) graduate, University of Peradeniya and counts over 40 years experience in engineering and manufacturing.
he worked in Singapore and Zambia for 15 years before returning to Sri Lanka to take up an appointment with Dipped Products in 1993. He worked in manufacturing for 15 years and was associated with the expansion phase of Dipped Products. He was appointed to the Board of as Director Manufacturing in 2005 and served until 2010. He also served as General Manager of Lanka Walltiles Ltd., and Vice President of John Keells Plc (Ceylon Cold Stores).
The appointment follows the retirement of Niru Yohan Fernando as a Director from Dipped Products with effect from 12 December 2013.
Following the appointment, the Board of Directors of Dipped Products Plc comprises of A.M. Pandithage (Chairman), K.I.M. Ranasoma (Managing Director), R.K. Witanachchi (Deputy Managing Director), K.D.D. Perera, K.A.L.S. Fernando, L.G.S. Gunawardena, S.C. Ganegoda, M. Bottino, V.R. Gunasekara, F. Mohideen, S. Rajapakse and D.S.N. Weerasooriya (alternate to K.D.D. Perera)
