The city is abuzz with New Year’s Eve plans and Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo offers some fabulous ways in which to usher in a fresh new year. Whether an outdoor party takes your fancy, or a formal dinner dance is more your style, you can’t go wrong choosing a Cinnamon Lakeside event on New Year’s Eve.
The Kings Court will be decked up in all its glory for ‘Mid Night Reverie NYE Dinner Dance’, an elegant dinner dance where guests will rock, roll and jive through to the wee hours of the New Year. Keeping those toes a tapping will be popular band DeeZone lead by Damian and DJ Kapila creating the ideal atmosphere to not only party the night away but to mingle with your friends and family. The idea behind this year’s party is to have non-stop dancing till the wee hours of the morning which will be accompanied with a super breakfast buffet to kick start the New Year. This is why the hotel has decided to offer a super-sized dance floor, with music and will keep the spirits flowing and the food aplenty.
Who knows? 7 Degrees North offers an alternative style of celebration. The setting - a poolside deck overlooking the Beira Lake, coupled with entertainment by Soul and DJ Kapila, promising to create an unforgettable night. Every guest who wines and dines at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo will have free entry to 7 Degrees North on 31st Night.
The Library will host an exclusive party where DJ Dasun will set the dance floor ablaze with his electrifying beats. Access will be strictly to resident guests, Library members and their guests.
The chefs at the hotel an elaborate dinner as well as a breakfast buffet lined up for the occasion. The Dining Room offers a somewhat quieter venue to reflect on the year gone by and to see in the new one over the finest dishes available. Dinner will be served in two sittings, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. for Rs. 6,680 nett, and from 9:30 p.m. onwards for Rs. 6,980 nett.
The hotel’s signature restaurants, Royal Thai and Long Feng will serve authentic Thai and Chinese food respectively, also in two sittings at the times specified above. Special menus have been designed for the evening and each will include a vegetarian option. Tickets for the vegetarian menu will be at the same price as the non vegetarian which sells at Rs. 6,680 nett for the first sitting and Rs. 6,980 nett for the second.
Raffle draws will be conducted at every restaurant where many air tickets, from Oman Air, Cathay Pacific, Qatar Airways, Sri Lankan Airlines, Singapore Airlines, together with other gifts which will be up for grabs by lucky winners.
