Office Network initiates e-Waste collection drive alongside Brother service camp

Office Network took the initiative in activating the e-Waste Collection Drive in order to create awareness among Brother Customers and to promote appropriate recycling of e-waste to help Sri Lanka’s initiative to ‘Go Green’.

Supporting Sri Lanka’s e-waste program and Brother’s concept of ‘Brother Earth’ – Office Network Pvt. Ltd. the sole distributor for Brother Office equipment and HSM in Sri Lanka activated the ‘Go Green’ program recently at their office premises.  Simultaneously, the company organised a ‘Service Camp’ for its customers to carry out health checks and responded to technical queries on Brother machines purchased by them with the Brother representatives and technical experts from Brother Singapore. Amongst those present at the Service Camp were Brother International Singapore Assistant General Manager, Customer Support and Service Dept. Milton Toh and a team of technical experts.

Basically the e-waste disposal drive served to provide an opportunity to increase the awareness to unite and educate people by their actions to call for a Greener future and to contribute to help the environment.  “Office Network together with Brother will continue to support the environment through several such programs lined up in the future as well. Taking the initiative, they hope to educate customers on the importance of disposing e-Waste in a proper manner and thereby help our environment to Go Green.  In the future when Brother equipment is purchased, an assurance of a product to protect the environment would be established,” stated Asst. General Manager of Office Network Anuruddha Ameresekera.
