Paan Paan opens on Parliament Road

Paan Paan has opened a new outlet on Parliament Road in Rajagiriya which carries its full range of bread, sandwiches and patisserie products. The bread selection includes its popular health range, along with European breads, local bread, buns and dinner accompaniments. The health range has the multi-seed low Glycaemic Index (GI) bread, wholemeal bread, brown sandwich bread, kurrakkan roast paan and rye bread to name a few. A selection of European breads such as the French baguette, a soft Italian ciabatta and a crispy

old-style ciabatta and the Spanish bartusa bread are also available. The local ‘kade paan’ which is made with butter and a regular roast paan, regular white sandwich bread and dinner rolls are also on the shelves. The bread is made fresh twice a day and delivered to the outlet so that customers can avail themselves of fresh bread throughout the day. The sandwich bar offers a wide selection of sandwiches such as submarines, sliced bread sandwiches and cheese melts. The customer can choose their bread, fillings, garnishing and sauces to have their sandwich made to their own liking. A selection of scrumptious fillings ranging from chicken, tuna, beef and vegetarian options are available for the sandwiches. A crispy medley of fresh greens are also available to add to make the sandwiches nutritious and wholesome. The patisserie includes muffins, croissants, Danish pastries, coffee buns, éclairs, cookies, banana bread, butter cake in its growing range of products. Old savoury favourites such as Chinese rolls, patties and fish and chicken buns too are available at the new Paan Paan in Rajagiriya. The outlet has both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is in a green veranda to give the customers a tranquil space to enjoy their food and conversation. Paan Paan is run by Lanka Premier Foods Ltd., and this is the fourth outlet of the company. The outlet is conveniently located at No. 467, Sri Jayawardenapura Road right after the HSBC building and next to CIC Juiceez. The new outlet can be contacted on 011 4 388 488 extension No. 4. The trading hours are from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekends.
