Panel discussion on GSP+ to tackle real impact

A panel discussion open to the public featuring Minister Dr. Harsha De Silva, Economist Deshal De Mel and industry representatives of the apparel and seafood exporters associations will be held on Wednesday, 12 July at 5.30 p.m. under the theme of ‘GSP+, How Real is It?’. 

Organised by the Young Professionals Organisation of the United National Party, the event will be held at The Lighthouse at the Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute and will also feature the Secretary General of the Joint Apparel Association Forum (JAAF) Tuli Cooray and the Spokesperson of the Sri Lanka Seafood Exporters Association Col. Channa Weeratunga. 

The panel discussion aims to tackle difficult questions from the public and identify the real impact of the GSP + concession on the Sri Lankan economy. Free admission to the event will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
