Photo Technica Ltd., the sole official distributor for Nikon cameras in Sri Lanka territory, was honoured with a National Merit Award in the Service sector at CNCI Achiever Award ceremony 2015. The outstanding performance of Photo Technica was recognised by the Ceylon National Chamber of Industries consecutively in 2014 and 2015.
It has been another proud moment for Photo Technica team as they have once again proved their outstanding performance in all auras. Many entities have recognised the efficiency of Photo Technica due to their 360 degree photography services all offered under one roof in Sri Lanka.
The entity was started by the great visionary Fred Malvenna in 1958 and later in the year 1994. Malvenna carried on the legacy of integrity, honesty, quality of products and services serving as Managing Director for the organisation.
Since its commencement Photo Technica has shown a steady growth and is identified as the 
organisation keeping the highest quality standards and customer service at their peak. They are enhancing their product range and adhering to their vision “to move forward and to be on par with technological advancements and to maintain their position as the leader in photographic industry”. Photo Technica are market leaders and at the optimum level of all their services.
The multifaceted organisation serving to all camera requirements under one roof, their brilliant marketing tactics, customer service, best quality/ integrity and their approach to go beyond business and think for the betterment of society through their CSR camps were the main factors for winning this award.
Photo Technica is the only authorised official distributor for Nikon cameras in Sri Lanka and they have maintained their brand image with their perseverance, hard work and commitments. The Managing Director Malvenna’s everlasting support, morale boost to his group and his visionary approach were the main motivating factors which has lead the team to be determined of their goals.
