PMB buys paddy worth Rs. 2.1 b

The Paddy Marketing Board (PMB) has purchased a record-73,987- metric tons of paddy this Maha season, Lankapuwath said quoting unnamed Agriculture Ministry sources.

The PMB has spent over Rs.2.1 billion to make these purchases, PMB sources said.

They added that the PMB has paid all farmers their dues for the produce.
