Ponds launches skin specific face wash

Unilever Sri Lanka’s Ponds Face Wash for a softer, smoother and lighter skin was launched yesterday. Ponds Face Wash is a foam-based product, which provides the consumer with skin lightening, oil control, moisturising and other skin care segments to improve the beauty of the facial skin.

Unilever Sri Lanka Ponds Sri Lanka Brand Manager Ruchira Money emphasised that facial skin is more delicate than the rest of the body and therefore Ponds had developed a specialised face wash for facial skin care. Ponds Face Wash is designed to be gentler and it has the ability to retain the skin’s natural moisture balance. The new product is priced at Rs. 195.

To enhance the fairness of the face, Ponds has introduced two variants to the market. Ponds White Beauty Daily Spotless Lightening Facial Foam contains pro vitamin B3 and transforms the complexion to a fair, pinkish white glow. This cleanses the skin, removes dullness and brightens it.

The Ponds Perfect Matte – Oil Control Cleansing Foam is formulated with anti-oil bio5, which controls the production of excess sebum, making the skin less vulnerable to oil-related problems.  Using this combination of products will definitely expedite the process of skin lightening and balance the moisture of the skin throughout the day.
