The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Berlin and the Consulate General in Frankfurt have organised a preparatory summit for the CHOGM Business Forum from 5 to 11 September 2013 in Frankfurt.
Fifty leading companies with global recognition will be participating in the summit. Deputy Minister of External Affairs Neomal Perera and Governor of the Central Bank Ajith Nivard Cabraal will be attending.
The purpose of the preparatory summit is to persuade leading business leaders in Germany to participate at the Commonwealth Business Forum, which is one of the most prestigious international business events conducted every two years on the margins of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) to be held from 12-14 November 2013 in Colombo.
The Honorary Consul of Sri Lanka for Baden-Wurttemberg, Norbert Quack, has arranged an event to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Sri Lanka and Germany in Stuttgart.
Political dignitaries and members of the business community from the German state of Baden-Wurttemberg will be invited for this event, in which the Deputy Minister of External Affairs and the Governor of Central Bank will be participating.
