President honours top young business achievers

The Chamber of Young Lankan Entrepreneurs (COYLE) celebrated its 15th anniversary on Monday with the participation of President Mahinda Rajapaksa as the chief guest at a gala dinner reception held at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel in Colombo. At the anniversary celebrations President Rajapaksa recognised the Chamber’s top young business achievers amongst its membership who locally and intentionally brought fame to the country. The dinner was preceded by the Chamber’s Annual General Meeting which was dedicated to the association’s 15 years of “Creating Business Viability” amongst the Sri Lankan business community. The anniversary celebration also saluted COYLE’s exclusive business-networking group on their achievements and contributions to the economic growth and development of the Sri Lankan business community. The membership of Chamber of Young Lankan Entrepreneurs (COYLE), established in 1999, contributes more than Rs. 600 billion to the Sri Lankan economy and provides employment to over 400,000. Ministers Patali Champika Ranawaka, Bandula Gunawardena, and Deputy Minister Neomal Perera were also present at the occasion.
