Printers to hold workshop in Gampaha on 11 Feb.

Sri Lanka Association of Printers are holding its fifth in the series of free full day workshops on 11 February at Saketha Medura, Gampaha, in the Western Province. This series is held island wide, to encourage professionalism among regional printer owners and to help them to face the new challenges with confidence. 

Deepal Sooriyaarachchi, the well-known marketing professional and business strategist with over 30 years’ experience is delivering the key-note speech entitled ‘A Fresh Perspective on Business’. Chaaminda Warnaraga Ratnayake, a Deputy General Manager at Aitken Spence Printing and Packaging, will be giving a presentation on the theme ‘Profit through Quality’.

The previous workshops were held in Jaffna, Galle, Kurunegala and Kandy and were immense successes. They got great reviews and appreciations from the printers of the regions. Some participants from Galle workshop came to Kurunegala to listen to the speakers for the second time. Similarly printers from Puttalam of the North Central province came to take part in the Kandy workshop. 

This is an initiative of SLAP President Veerasamy Kumaran and the Project Chairman is Jude Silva, Director of Papyrus. 

It is necessary to have prior registration to take part in the free workshop and it is open only to printers in the Gampaha district. There are a few seats available and interested printers should contact the Association’s secretariat on 011-2741979, 2741982 and 0777374619.
