Promoting bilateral relationship

On an official visit to the Republic of Latvia, Thomas F. Daetwyler, Consul General of Latvia in Sri Lanka, together with Amal Peiris, Deputy Consul, visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia.

On invitation by the Riga Technical University where many Sri Lankan students are studying, they took part in the 150 years celebrations of the university. The Ministry briefed on the recent developments in Latvia and the interest to promote bilateral relationship between Sri Lanka and Latvia and in the region. The Consular Division informed about the latest procedures and 24 hour hotline.
