Promoting bilateral trade and relationship with Latvia

On an official visit to the Republic of Latvia, Thomas F. Daetwyler, Consul General of Latvia in Sri Lanka, together with Amal Peiris, Deputy Consul and Nawziya Hossen, Personal Assistant visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia and attended the Latvian Investment Forum in Riga which showed the focus on promoting bilateral trade and relationship. The Honorary Consul General’s appointment was extended till 2019 in view of the growing importance and focus of Latvia on Asia.
