Record price for Kenilworth teas

Kenilworth Estate situated in Ginigathhena has established an all time record price at the weekly tea auctions  held on 1 November 2011 by securing an attractive price of  Rs. 820 for a liquoring OP 1  grade.

This price has surpassed the previous record of Rs. 620, which was established in 2008 by the same estate.

This line was purchased by Unitrades Ltd.

Kenilworth is renowned for high quality pure orthodox teas possessing delicate liquoring characteristics.



Kenilworth Estate is managed by Watawala Plantations Plc while John Keells Plc is the tea broker for the produce of this estate.
