All arrangements for the Sri Lanka Ceramics & Glass Symposium organised by the Sri Lanka Ceramics Council (SLACC) to be held on Friday and Saturday 15 and 16 March 2013 are now finalised.
This is the fifth time the council is organising this event. A significant feature of the fifth symposium is the combination of the two industries – ceramics and glass.
Many reputed speakers from Sri Lanka and overseas will make presentations covering a range of topics in taking the industry to a higher level. The theme of the symposium will be ‘Today’s Vision: Tomorrow’s Reality’.
The symposium consists of a back-to-back conference and an exhibition. The conference and exhibition will feature foreign suppliers alongside local manufacturers. Several suppliers from Italy, Germany, UK, Spain, India, Indonesia, and China have already confirmed their participation.
Registrations are now open with the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, 50, Navam Mawatha, Colombo 2, which is the Secretariat for the Sri Lanka Ceramics Council (www.chamber.lk).
