Richard Pieris felicitates Best Performers and Distributors

Richard Peiris and Company (Arpico) recently staged its annual sales conference and awards ceremony for the sales team and Distributors in its local manufacturing and Distribution Sector at a gala event held at the Galle Face Hotel Colombo. Themed “Reaching New Heights” the glittering event honoured the Company’s stars and applauded their accomplishments during the year. Directors of the Richard Pieris Group, Sunil Liyanage, Managing Director, Local Manufacturing and Distribution sector, and Shantha Kularatne, Director, Distribution graced the occasion and shared with the participants the Company’s strategies for continued success.  

Regarded as a “Knights Night”, over 100 top performers in the company’s Sales Team and Distributors were recognised for their commitment through Gold, Silver & Bronze awards, certificates, cash prizes and overseas tours. The company’s Sales Team and Distributors across the island including the North and East were highly applauded and well recognised during the occasion.

Chief Guest, Sena Yaddehige, the Chairman, CEO, and Managing Director of Arpico, commending the commitment and dedication of the Local Manufacturing and Distribution sector said, “The Company’s manufacturing and Distribution sector is a key component of the Group’s business. As a premier local company Richard Pieris Group was able to generate revenue of Rs. 27.2 Billion yet again speaking volumes about our company’s financial stability. Revenue increase of the Manufacturing and Distribution Sector has grown by 50% year over year. This exemplifies the extraordinary contribution by this force”.

The gala night saw winners selected under Top Distributors and Top Performance categories. Proprietor of Vinayagas Trading Complex, Vavuniya, (Furniture & Hardware Sectors), Dulan Distributors Miniwangoda (Hardware Sector), Kanthi Distributors Ahangama (Furniture Sector) and A. S. L Distributors, Katuneriya (PVC Sector) emerged as the Gold Winners in the Top Distributors Category. In the Top Performers Category Nilanka Weerapana from Matale Territory (Furniture & Hardware Sectors), Nilantha Dayanath from Minuwangoda Territory (Hardware Sector), Pubudu Wasantha from Ahangama Territory (Furniture Sector) and Sameera Perera from Katuneria Territory (PVC Sector) emerged as Gold Winners.
