Rimbun is an independent boutique corporate advisory firm established in 2004 specialising in niche Corporate Recovery, Project Rehabilitation and Forensic Investigation. It has seen years of successful partnerships with government agencies, private firms and non-governmental organisations towards rejuvenating assets by looking beyond the insolvency of a company with its work on rehabilitation of abandoned housing development projects and conducting series of in-house fraud prevention and awareness to institute better understanding of the risks at hand.

Rimbun’s Forensic team specialises in Prevention, Detection and Response to fraud related incidents. Its inception is based upon a strategic alliance with the Malaysian Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (MACFE) and collaboration between professionals from various fields of expertise relevant to the current Fraud Management Framework.

Through this partnership, the Forestpin Analytics software was launched to the Malaysian market during the Institute of Internal Auditors Malaysia (IIAM) National Conference 2016 on 10 and 11 October in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), Malaysia.

The IIA National Conference is the premier conference for internal auditors and other audit professionals and attracted over 1,000 delegates representing both multinational organisations and governmental agencies.
