The importance of the right leadership for innovation, managing millennial talent in the organisation, and building innovation teams will be some of the key themes at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce’s ‘Future of Business’ Innovation Strategy and Learning Event to be held tomorrow, 24 March, at Hilton Colombo Residences.
The event will feature an impressive line of speakers, both from Sri Lanka and overseas, who will focus not only on the digital, but also the non-digital aspects of innovation to drive transformation in a company.
The keynote speaker for the event will be Professor Jaideep Prabhu, of Cambridge University Judge Business School and he will be focusing on leadership to drive innovation and doing more and better with less. Sessions on adopting practical approaches to investing in digital will have industry leaders such as Ajit Gunawardene from John Keells Holdings and Global consultants like Ganaka Herath, from McKinsey & Company of UK as resource persons. They will touch on how companies can evolve to include digitalisation in their organisation.
Human Resource professionals like Kshanika Ratnayake from Great Places to Work and Chandi Dharmarathne from Virtusa Polaris will be focusing on strategies and techniques in managing millennial workers in Sri Lanka. Innovation Leaders such as Nathan Sivagananathan, Nissanga Warnapura, Himesh Fernando and Gregor Kalchthaler, from Germany, will focus on building cutting edge innovation teams in a company.
The event is suited for C-suite officers and senior executives in technology, strategy, marketing, HR and new business development.
