Rs. 143 m Spruce-up for city housing schemes

The Government has decided to renovate the road and drain network of 13 multistoried housing complexes in Colombo in which 1,700 families are current residing, at a cost of Rs. 143.29 million.

Cabinet Spokesman Minister Rajitha Senarathna yesterday revealed that the multistoried housing complexes were the Bolamesawatte Housing Scheme, Veluwanarama Housing Scheme, Elvitigala Housing Scheme, Mallikarama Housing Scheme, Central Road Housing Scheme, Kammalwatte Housing Scheme, Jumma Masjid Housing Scheme, Dissanayake Watte Housing Scheme, Aluth Mawatha Housing Scheme, Dias Place Housing Scheme, Bloemendhal Housing Scheme, St. James Street Housing Scheme and Aluthkade Housing Scheme.
