S-lon stall wins Grand Award at Construct Exhibition 2015

S-lon Lanka Ltd., the pioneers of potable water piping system and the market leader of thermoplastic pipes and fittings clinched the Platinum Award, the highest award given to the overall Best Stall at the Construct Exhibition 2015 Awards Ceremony held recently at Waters Edge, Battaramulla.

The Award presented by Minister of Housing and Samurdhi Sajith Premadasa, was accepted on behalf of S-lon Lanka Ltd. by Manager Business Development and Trade Marketing Shalini Navaratne, together with Sales Director Ranjan Liyanage and several other managers.

Construct Exhibition organised by the National Construction Association of Sri Lanka is the country’s largest and most prestigious construction industry related exhibition considered as the construction industry’s key trade fair in the South Asian Region.

Shalini Navaratne said, “We are indeed delighted to receive the top most award given to exhibitors and consider it as another jewel in our crown because we have managed to outdo some of the leading companies in the industry to clinch this award. The award is a reflection of the dedication. Commitment and the determination of the S-lon team to resist the usual and design a stall which was outstanding. The House of S-lon stall was designed and constructed in the shape of a giant S-lon Tee fitting and was able to attract many visitors from all walks of life.”

A large number of house builders, contractors, engineers, architects and students visited the House of S-lon stall at the exhibition and showed a keen interest on the products on display. It also provided both information and advice by experts from S-lon on the products exhibited to many interested visitors to the stall.

The visitors were provided an opportunity to understand the technology on the maintenance of stringent quality control that surpasses industry standards and on how the company has invested in state of the art technology and equipment for their laboratories that is first of its kind in Sri Lanka, like the ‘Automated Pressure Testing Unit’, to maintain best of quality. The ‘Automated Pressure Testing Unit’ helps in testing pressure resistance of S-lon pipes and fittings for long durations where the ultimate result is safer and durable pipes and fittings for S-lon’s valued customers.
