Saboor Chatoor gets ISO 22000 certificate

Long standing exporting firm Saboor Chatoor Pvt. Ltd., has received the prestigious ISO 22000 certificate from the Sri Lanka Standards Institution (SLSI).

Saboor Chatoor Ltd. has been in existence for almost 100 years and is one of the oldest exporters of spices and various agricultural products.

The company is also one of the pioneers in the export of spices to the world. ISO 22000:2005 is an international standard that specifies requirements for a food safety management system, where an organization in the food chain needs to demonstrate its ability to control food safety hazards in order to ensure that food is safe at the time of human consumption.
