Samantha Ranatunga to continue as Ceylon Chamber Chief

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce held its 177th Annual General Meeting on 28Juneat the Cinnamon Grand Hotel in Colombo. The Chief Guest of the occasion wasUS Ambassador to Sri Lanka and Maldives Atul Keshap.

The AGM saw the reappointment of Samantha Ranatunga as the Chairperson of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce for a second consecutive year.

Rajendra Theagarajah and Dr. Hans Wijayasuriya were reelected, respectively as the Vice Chairperson and the Deputy Vice Chairperson of the CCC at the concluded AGM. 

The shareholders also approved the continuation of the nine-member Board of Directors.Accordingly, Chairperson Samantha Ranatunga, Vice Chairperson Rajendra Theagarajah, Deputy Vice Chairperson Dr. Hans WijayasuriyaandCCC CEO DharaWijayatilakesitin as ex-officio members.
