Samsung launches ‘Maldives’ air conditioner

Global giant Samsung has launched a new air conditioner branded ‘The Maldives’.

This new brand of air conditioner was  specially designed for the South East Asian countries like the Maldives, where the energy cost is high and the air pollution grows by the day.

This new air conditioner provides a ‘double saving, double cleaning’ concept which will be appreciated by the many number of families who use air conditioners in their daily life, reports the Maldivestraveller.

For a country like the Maldives, where the sun never stops shining, air conditioners are at the top of the list of ‘must haves’ when tourists visit these beautiful islands. After a walk around the island, everyone wants to come back to a room where the atmosphere is cool and relaxed.

This new air conditioner will reduce the energy usage by up to 60 per cent. This new product enhances the air in two ways. It removes microscopic dust particles and purifies the air as well. It’s new ‘double saving’ mode allows the people to save energy while the system is working and also when it is in standby mode. If a virus should reach the air conditioner, the ‘Maldives’ will automatically turn it into water vapor, hence reducing the risks of virus spreading.

Chang Wan Hong, the Executive Vice President of Samsung’s Digital Appliances business, said: “Combined with the full HD filter, this technology can eliminate up to 80 per cent of dust and bacteria.”

This new ‘Maldives’ will have less noise and less vibration will definitely help the customers feel more relaxed and peaceful. The ‘Maldives’ offers a ‘good sleep’ mode, which helps to keep the temperatures at an ideal pace, which will be cool and relaxed when customers wake up during a relaxed night of sleeping. For islands like the Maldives where the population is growing by the day, this new air conditioner will probably be one of the best new technologies invented this year.
