Scan Engineering wins Gold from Daikin

Daikin Air-conditioning Singapore, a subsidiary of Daikin Industries Ltd., of Japan, held their annual ‘Dealers Awards and Recognition Night 2013’, at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel in Singapore. Daikin is a Japanese multinational company founded in 1924 and is a leading manufacturer of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning equipment (HVAC) apart from other related products.  

The HVAC product range extends from residential split air conditioning equipment to Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) systems and commercial or industrial cooling water chillier systems. The event marked the 10 year anniversary of such awards by Daikin Singapore and was attended by special guests Daikin Industries Aseana and Oceania Regions General Manager Junji Umamoto and Daikin Industries (Thailand) Ltd. Director Shogo Ando, distributors for Daikin in the territory of Singapore and the respective distributors in the South East Asian region were also present at the gala event.

Scan Engineering was awarded the Gold Award for ‘Outstanding sales achievement’ which was commemorated by receipt of a solid gold bar and commemorative trophy. Scan Engineering was also presented with the ‘Recognition of achievement’ award for the sales category of variable refrigerant volume (VRV) equipment. This same award was achieved in the previous financial year by Scan Engineering. Daikin VRV is a most advanced and energy efficient air conditioning system suitable for any type of building from privates residences to condominiums, hotels, offices and factories.

Scan Engineering Director Pavithra Abeynayake, was given the opportunity to address the gathering upon receipt of the award.
