Leading real estate portal Lamudi Lanka Ltd. announced the dawn of its second Real Estate Expo next month. A range of presenters and exhibitors will showcase Sri Lanka’s best property and home services to buyers, sellers, renters and investors. The Expo will take place on 23 and 24 September at the North Lawn, Taj Samudra from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on both days.
Lamudi launched its first ever Real Estate Expo in May 2016, which turned out to be a roaring success. Lamudi teamed up with AVIC Astoria as their title partner to run the event. Some of the highlights of the show included the inspiring speech given by Ranjit Fernando, Chairman of Urban Development Authority (UDA), and the presentation of AVIC’s latest project “Astoria”. This project gained the particular attention of expats and high end customers looking for the finest luxury apartments.
Following the many positive responses Lamudi received with the success of its first Real Estate Expo, the company decided to launch a second Expo. The September Expo promises to be equally impressive as the first Expo, if not more so. Buyers, sellers, renters, investors and developers will be invited to participate in conversations and share new ideas at the event.
One of the reasons Lamudi’s first Expo was so popular was that it brought together a range of exhibitors in a single venue, making the process of purchasing a home much easier for the event’s attendees. The Expo provides attendees with the opportunity to experience the real estate market under one roof, giving them a 360 degree view of the whole process, from browsing and viewing, to purchasing and renovating.
House hunters can meet leading real estate developers in person to discuss their requirements and obtain the best service. Developers will be showcasing their latest projects in the form of 3D models. With 3D models, developers can better inform attendees about the properties on the market, giving potential buyers a clear vision of properties.
Joining hands with Lamudi to bring forth its second Real Estate Expo are Havelock City, Fairway Holdings, Dusit Thani, Glorious Residencies, YD Construction, and Etisalat. Once again, Capital Trust Residencies will also be taking part. Other leading institutes including various banks, financial institutions, construction companies and designers will also be at the event promoting their services.
Since Sri Lanka is a developing country where there are many opportunities for growth, this Expo will further contribute to the rapid expansion of the real estate industry, bringing in more investments and revenue to the country. Internet penetration is increasing fast in Sri Lanka, but at the moment, our online platform is not accessible to those who are not internet users.
Lamudi Sri Lanka Managing Director Jafar Jafarov highlighted the importance of running in person events as well as online activities. He commented that Lamudi’s Expos are important to ensure that even those who are not connected to the internet have the opportunity to “look for properties, meet developers face to face and discuss options to purchase their dream homes or invest in real estate”.
