Internationally acclaimed Sri Lanka’s leading handloom giant Selyn Handlooms, will start their latest sales outlet at the Badagamuwa tourist complex which houses Amaya Leisure Wayamba cafe forest restaurant, pastry corner and ice cream parlour along the Kurunegala, Dambulla Road three kilometres from the town.

With their finest quality of handloom products and world renowned puffed dolls will be a traditional marketing for the foreign and local visitor passing through Kurunegala.

Selyn’s top quality products can be matched with world famous names such as Ka De We in Germany, Harrods in London which has expensive curtaining and bed linen for the customer.

Selyn Handlooms are currently operating in Kurunegala (Colombo road), at Fife Road in Colombo and in Kandy.

The quality and standard of these handloom products have snatched the attention of the elite market in Sri Lanka and overseas. Its founder, Sandra Beverly Wanduragala, a native from Kurunegala started small and made it a giant amongst giants.

The result of this made Sandra Wanduragala to be crowned as ‘the Entrepreneur Of The Year 2011’.

“I believe in standard and quality and placed besides Amaya’s restaurant operation, is surely a compliment for both concerned parties.” She further emphasised that Sri Lankan products now have the finesse in most products, and being a part of this huge operation has come as blessing in disguise.
