The Society of Structural Engineers – Sri Lanka, the pioneering body of practicing engineers and academics in the field of structural engineering in Sri Lanka, established by an Act of Parliament, has organised a full day seminar on ‘Advances in Concrete Technology’ on 16 August at Hotel Taj Samudra, Colombo.
Concrete is the most consumed material in the construction industry and the recent advances will no doubt, help the development of the industry to a greater extent. In this context, sharing of knowledge of experts in Sri Lanka as well as in the international arena will be beneficial to the structural engineers and other professionals in the construction industry.
