A seminar to create awareness among Sri Lankan fruit and vegetable exporters of the opportunities available in the EU market will be held on 7 July at the Export Development Board.
The event, which is organised by the Lanka Fruit and Vegetable Processors and Exporters Association, an affiliated trade body of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, will focus on the quality aspects to be considered when exporting to the EU market, regulatory requirements to be fulfilled and the export opportunities available in the European market.
Officials of the Department of Agriculture, Industrial Technology Institute and Sri Lankan Standards Institute will take part as the resource persons of the seminar, which will be held under the title ‘Farm to Export – Opportunities in the EU market’.
