The Department of Commerce with the assistance of the Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka to the WTO and the Technical Assistance Division of the WTO Secretariat in Geneva will organise workshop on ‘Trade Remedies’ in Colombo on 8 April.
The objective of this workshop is to build capacities of the stakeholder institutions and private sector in Sri Lanka focusing mainly on trade remedies under the legal framework of the WTO system.
The workshop will be held at the Ground Floor Auditorium of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, starting at 9 a.m.
Department of Commerce Director General Sonali Wijeratne, WTO Geneva Counsellor Clarisse Morgan and WTO Geneva Technical Trade Specialist Seref Gokay Coskun will be the resource persons of this seminar.
