Sharanyan wins young entrepreneur award for Northern Province

Sharanyan Sharma has won the Sri Lanka Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the Northern Province, at the annual competition organised by the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

He started his own venture, extreme-seo.net, in 2006 from scratch and is now providing employment to more than 60 people in Vavuniya and more than 45 people globally. He participated as a country delegate at the Commonwealth Asia Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs (CAAYE) Summit in Mumbai, an occasion which is regarded as one of the most popular networking events for young entrepreneurs. He also won the award for ‘Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year Sri Lanka – 2013’ at the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards (APEA) in Sri Lanka.
