The fifth consecutive Singer Lifestyle Fiesta kicked off yesterday at the BMICH with the intention to generating funds for the company’s CSR initiatives.

The initiative includes the provision of medical equipment and water purifying systems to provide clean drinking water for people affected by kidney diseases living in the Northern and Eastern regions of Sri Lanka.

Singer Group CEO and Director Sales and Sewing Marketing Kumar Samarasinghe stated that revenues collected from ticket sales at the event will be used for this purpose in keeping with Singer’s commitment to being one of the most responsible corporate citizens of the country.

One unique feature of the three day exhibition was that even small to medium scale vendors would be given an opportunity to showcase their products which ranged from a wide variety of cooking utensils and other household goods to clothes and accessories. He added that this strategy was also in line with Singer’s vision of enabling coexistence between large, small, and medium scale ventures to coexist in the market.

The exhibition showcases over 1000 products, helping home owners to find everything from kitchen appliances and stylish furniture to electronic goods including computers, mobile phones, laptops and many more. Some of the world’s leading household brands such as Philips, Kenwood, Sony, Samsung and Dell were present at the exhibition and their products were featured with special offers and deals, and discounts of up to 50%.

Moreover the exhibition is a one-stop-shop for all lifestyle needs with a plethora of stalls offering textiles and garments with a fashionable twist.

Sampath Bank served as the official banking partner while products are also available on easy payment schemes provided by Singer and credit card payments are also accepted for purchases.
