Singer unveils Korean tech-backed side-by-side refrigerators

Singer Sri Lanka this week announced the launch of its Side-by-Side refrigerator for Sri Lankan consumers. The launch coincides with Singer’s 160 year of operations and is testament to the company’s reputation of always striving to meet its customers’ ever-changing needs.



The refrigerator possesses a host of cutting edge features which would be ideally suited to a modern society rapidly progressing on the economic front as ours, further underscoring the company’s leadership position in introducing technological innovations for Sri Lankan consumers.

Speaking at the launch, Singer Marketing Director  Nasser Majeed said, ‘The Side-by-Side Refrigerator is manufactured in Korea and assembled at Singer’s factory in Ratmalana which has been manufacturing refrigerators since 1986, earning an enviable reputation for quality, workmanship and durability over the years. The availability of technical knowledge and know-how is an advantage that will cascade down to our customers, resulting in faster customer service and technical assistance’.

The refrigerator is available in two models, CRN-Y22E2 and CRN-X22B2, and incorporates a number of unique features. Chief amongst these include Turbo X-Cooling, Perfect No Frost, Energy Class A+/A, LED & Touch Bottom Display, a highly compartmentalised interior that allows users to segregate food according to their type ensuring odour-free freshness, and the two-door Side-by-Side configuration that will save energy for consumers. Further, the CRN-Y22E2 includes additional enhancements such as water and ice dispenser.

The Side-by-Side refrigerator was built using Korean raw materials and technology. In doing so, Singer has ensured that this refrigerator is an ideal investment for the modern and discerning Sri Lankan family.
