Ceylon Aviation Club (CAC) is a voluntary group who is working hard in aviation to prepare the next generation in Sri Lanka to lead the aviation industry. Their purpose is to form various types of aviation events and to motivate kids in aviation with assistance and co-operation of all the voluntary organisations.
They formed their first event, ‘Sky Fiesta’ which is a gathering of aviation lovers to be held on 07 December 2013 at Pannipitiya Dharmapala Vidyalaya from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Their objectives are to celebrate the 101st year of Sri Lankan aviation industry, celebrate the World Civil Aviation day, gather all the aviation lovers in to one place and enhance the aviation subject and also the Ceylon Aviation Club.
A large number of invitees related to aviation industry, students from various schools and a general crowd are expected to be participating at this occasion.
The club is also planning to throw out a few events on this day such as Para-motoring, model aircrafts shows, game zones, air plane displays, lectures and a few competitions.
