SL Administrative Service AGM today

The 30th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Sri Lankan Administrative Service will be held at Waters Edge, Battaramulla today (9 October 2012), commencing at 9 a.m. under the patronage of Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa.

During the AGM, it is anticipated to offer a brochure and a notable item to those who rendered a yeoman service to the literature amongst the officers of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service and also to launch the ‘SASA Together Fund’ with the intention of extending some financial assistance to the officers of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service, when they met with an accident or suffer from non-infectious disease.

There are approximately 2,100 members attached to the Sri Lanka Administrative Service Association. It comprises the Administrative Officers, primarily the Secretary to the President, Secretaries to the Ministries, Chief Secretaries of Provincial Councils, District Secretaries, Additional Secretaries, Director Generals, Commissioner Generals, Senior Assistant Secretaries, Directors and Provincial Secretaries, etc.

While the officers of Sri Lanka Administrative Service represent all in Sri Lanka, they agree on implementing the Government policies and decisions for the benefit of the nation.
