SLID takes message of governance to Kandy

The Sri Lanka Institute of Directors (SLID), in keeping with the pursuance of its vision, is taking its message of governance to the provinces. In collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Central Province, SLID will be organising a seminar on ‘Conducting Business Responsibly’ on Friday, 30 September 2011, in Kandy.

This programme will be addressing key areas to promote professionalism amongst directors and will be conducted in Sinhala targeting Chairpersons, Directors, CEOs, and Senior Managers of Private and Public companies, Partners and Sole Proprietors as well.

The well experienced resource persons will handle the topics, “The company as a legal entity — the minimum requirements on compliance;” “Sustainable Development and the responsibility to the community” and “Minimum Finance, Accounting and Tax Issues.”
