SLID to present a rare combination at ‘Power Evening’

The ‘Power Evening’ on the subject ‘Performing While Conforming – What the Textbooks Don’t Teach’ organised by the Sri Lanka Institute of Directors (SLID) and scheduled for 29 November 2011 at 5 p.m. at the Earls Court, Cinnamon Lakeside, will bring together a rare combination of Chairmen.

The line-up includes Deshamanya Mahesh Amalean, Chairman, MAS Holdings (Pvt) Ltd.; Hemaka Amarasuriya, Chairman, Singer Sri Lanka PLC; Susantha Ratnayake, Chairman and CEO, John Keells Holdings PLC; and Rienzie Wijetilleke, Chairman, Sunshine Holdings PLC.  The aforementioned are also Chairmen of other various listed and unlisted companies.

The facilitator cum moderator of the session is Ranel T. Wijesinha, Chairman of the Thought Leadership Forum.

SLID CEO Lilani Perera stated that this ‘Power Evening’ would benefit a range of persons from manager, director and chairman levels in terms of both learnings and practice. It is certainly an event not to be missed.
