SLSBC collaborates with JETRO

The Sri Lanka – Singapore Business Council (SLSBC) of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce recently collaborated with the Japan External

Trade Organisation (JETRO) to conduct a survey involving selected Singapore companies successfully operating in Sri Lanka. The objective is to encourage bilateral trade between Sri Lanka and Japan and also to enhance Japan’s direct investments into Sri Lanka. This initiative is the first of its kind by the SLSBC. The Council hopes to establish strategic and mutually beneficial partnerships by expanding its co-operation with similar trade organisations including those of countries with the potential for increasing bilateral trade and investment in Sri Lanka. The Sri Lanka – Singapore Business Council intends to strengthen its links with such organisations in order to broaden its reach for more business opportunities for the benefit of its members.
