SLT rewards winners of Extra GB Bonanza promotion

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), the leading ICT solutions provider in Sri Lanka held the much awaited award ceremony to deliver its promises to the winners of the company’s Extra GB Bonanza promotion which kicked off in the beginning of the year. The promotion period lasted from January to March and all broadband users including Megaline (ADSL), 4G LTE and Smartline (FTTH) users were eligible for the promotion.

During the months of January to March, customers were encouraged to use extra data volumes and top up their GBs via the SLT Broadband Value Added Services portal. 40 winners were selected each month including January, February and March, from each broadband package category including light users, family, SME as well as business customers, based on the highest extra GB purchased during a particular month. These winners were offered the same amount of extra GB free in the following month.

Furthermore, the 120 winners were then eligible for the grand finale draw which was held on 6 May, at SLT Auditorium. Geveo Australasia Ltd., V.S. Hydro Ltd. and Koggala Beach Hotel Ltd. were the lucky winners of the grand finale draw and walked away with the grand prize – each winner received a tour package to Bangkok for two, which included the air fares as well as accommodation and half a day’s tour of the city.
