Uniquely positioned to provide consumers with next generation TV technology, Sony recently unveiled its ultimate new Bravia 4K HDR Ultra HD TV range.

This highly advanced TV range will be available through all main Siedles and Singer outlets around the country.

The 4K High Dynamic Range (HDR) TVs go beyond what you’ve seen before delivering stunning and unmatched picture quality reproducing images that are true to life; offering a truly remarkable experience in clarity, colour, contrast and much more, compatible with the latest HDR movies and shows.

“Sony’s new Bravia 4K HDR TV Android TV range combines the most advanced TV technologies with future-forward stunning designs that elevate the TV experience to an entirely new level. HDR delivers better contrast and can offer more range of brightness and darkness, which makes every seat the best seat in the house,” said Alex Yee, Head of Sony Sri Lanka Representative Office.

Among the line-up of premium 2016 BRAVIA 4K HDR Android TVs showcased during the exciting launch was Sony’s flagship Z9D series, the award winning X93D series and its fellow 4K HDR TV range, as well as other superior Full HD TVs.

“Having Singer and Siedlesas distributors of our next generation TV technology and as our leading retail partner, means consumers benefit from their experience, knowledge and market depth and can feel confident in purchase decisions,” noted Alex Yee.

The new ‘Z’ moniker of the TVs launched marks a significant leap forward and the ultimate in display technology. With this advancement, Sony brings 4K HDR to a new level with extreme contrasts and more realistic, accurate colours, in order to express what creators really intended.

The main features of the displayed next generation TVs which are also intensely detailed and lush include Ultra HD and HDR screens; technology designed to show rich detail in both dark shadows and bright skies at the same time.

The TVs contain Sony’s new Slim Backlight Drive technology which uses multiple LEDs behind the screen through a new grid-array backlighting structure. This feature boosts peak brightness and black levels more precisely and enhances contrast levels, while maintaining a slim form factor at previously unattainable levels of precision.

The 4K Processor X1 has been introduced to provide the ultimate 4K HDR visual experience. Its meticulous colour mapping technology reproduces a wider range with accurate details at any brightness levels.

The design of the TVs encapsulates the ultimate TV viewing experience with its attention to detail. A simple black slate lets viewers immerse themselves in the stunning power of 4K HDR. From the back, the design keeps all the cables completely concealed, ensuring its elegant look from any angle.

The BRAVIA lineup supports the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow software. This enables TVs to become more intuitive to use and smarter than before. With the latest software updates, consumers can enjoy expandable storage space using their USB drive to download more TV applications.

The entire 2016 BRAVIA 4K HDR Android TV line-up unveiled during the launch included the 75 / 65 Z9D 4K HDR Android TV, the 65 / 55 X93D 4K HDR Android TV, the 75 / 65 / 55  X85D 4K HDR Android TV, the 43 X80D 4K HDR Android TV and the 65/55 S85D Curved Screen 4K HDR Android TV.
