‘Speed Water Shop’ opens in Wadduwa

Speed Water Systems, a leading Sri Lankan company which produces purified bottled drinking water on par with international standards, is continuing to open Speed Water Shops in all key towns in Sri Lanka under the company’s inspiring slogan ‘to make purified water more affordable and available to all.’



The newest Speed Water Shop under this initiative was established at Wadduwa recently, located at No.282, Galle Road, Pothupitiya, Wadduwa. Speaking at the opening, Speed Water Systems Ltd., Managing Director Nishantha Delgoda said, “With the ending of the war in the North and the East, large numbers of local and foreign tourists started to visit the Southern Province. Among the supplies essential to these tourists, bottled drinking water holds a very important place. A Speed Water Systems Limited Water Shop was opened at Wadduwa to fulfil that necessity.”

Sales centres of all essential supplies including vegetables, fruit and fish can be seen in all big and small townships. But, until very recently, there were no places dedicated to the selling of bottled drinking water, an essential item to the public. Speed Water Systems introduced the ‘Water Shop’ concept to Sri Lanka for the first time. The company successfully maintains a chain of Water Shops that only selling bottled drinking water in Colombo and outstations.
