For more than 50 years, Laksala has promoted Sri Lanka’s heritage and local artisans, keeping their traditions alive. It has earned the appreciation of numerous local and foreign customers for the colourfully diverse range of products it offers. Now, for the first time, Laksala is organising a Vesak promotion with special discounts. This is an initiative of its Chairman/CEO Hasitha Tillekeratne, who is keen to popularise local arts, crafts, traditions and products. The Vesak promotion will continue from 24 April to 31 May. There will be discounts of 10%-50% on select items such as religious statues and other items used in Buddhist worship such as Buddha statues made from ceramic, wood and granite, Pagodas and aromatic joss sticks. Sampath credit cardholders are eligible for discounts of up to 25% on a wide range of items. Customers can benefit from this promotion by visiting Laksala showrooms in Thunmulla, Museum Gallery Café, Battaramulla, Fort, Katubedda, Kandy, Peradeniya, Galle, Welipenna, Race Course, Katunayake and Pinnawala.
