Sri Lanka, Bangladesh Business Co-operation Council debuts

Sri Lanka Bangladesh Business Co-operation Council of the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka has been inaugurated under the kind patronage of the High Commissioner of Bangladesh, as its Founder Patron.

A get-together to felicitate this occasion will be held at the Colombo Golf Club on 8 September 2011 and a website will be launched on this day. Mahbub uz Uzzaman, the High Commissioner of Bangladesh will grace the occasion.

The Council was formed to promote bilateral trade and exchange technical know-how and information technology between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The Council welcomes more members to join the Council. The Council has also planned many activities and one of them is a proposed Business Delegation to Bangladesh in December 2011 to coincide with a leading Trade Exhibition in Dhaka. NCCSL is inviting businessmen who are keen to join in the delegation.
