The Sri Lanka Ceramics Council, affiliated to the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, is scheduled to hold its 10th Annual General Meeting on Friday, 2 August 2013 at 5 p.m. at The Kingsbury, Colombo.
The Council is the apex private sector body representing the ceramics manufacturing companies in Sri Lanka. The Council was formed in 2003 and consists of all local exporters of tableware, floor tiles, wall tiles, ornamental ware and glass, and also include SMEs.
Patali Champika Ranawaka, Minister of Technology, Research and Atomic Energy will be the Chief Guest at this event. A keynote address on ‘Clarity or Confusion: The Global Economy and Sri Lanka’ will be given by Anushka Wijesinha, Research Economist, Institute of Policy Studies of Sri Lanka (IPS). The AGM will be followed by cocktails.
