‘Sri Lanka Innovation & Entrepreneurship Strategies’ workshop

Ministry of Development Strategies and International Trade jointly arranged with World Bank Group a workshop titled ‘Sri Lanka Innovation & Entrepreneurship Strategies’ last week. The main issues discussed at the finale of the workshop were: Challenges and reforms in modernising the research and development sector in Sri Lanka, National Quality Infrastructure and its further improvements and benefits.

Key guests of this event were Minister for Development Strategies and International Trade Malik Samarawickrama, State Minister for International Trade Sujeeva Senasinghe, Secretary to the ministry Chandani Wijewardene, EDB Chairperson Indra Malwatte, SLINTEC CEO Harin de Silva, Dilmah CEO Dilhan Fernando, and Chamber of Commerce Economist Anushka Wijesinghe.
