Sri Lanka-Japan Working Groups chart road map

A meeting of Sri Lanka-Japan Working Groups on Creating a Road Map towards further investment promotion from Japan to Sri Lanka was held this week at the Ministry of Development Strategies and International Trade. 

The matters pertaining to further investments from Japan to Sri Lanka were discussed at this meeting. The high level official delegation from Japan was headed by Yasuhiko Yoshida – the Director General for Southwest Asia Trade Policy Bureau of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan. Ministry of Development Strategies and International Trade Secretary Chandani Wijewardana, Agency for Development Managing Director Mangala Yapa, Export Development Board Chairperson Indira Malwatte, Board of Investment Director General Duminda Ariyasinghe and high level officials from the Ministry of Megapolis and Policy Development office also participated in the discussion.
