Sri Lanka, Malaysia to strengthen bilateral cooperation

The newly-accredited Malaysian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Azmi Zainuddin paid a courtesy call on Deputy Minister of External Affairs Neomal Perera at the Ministry on Friday. The Deputy Minister welcomed the new High Commissioner to Sri Lanka.

The two sides had in-depth discussions on the subject of strengthening bilateral cooperation and beef up coordination on the Joint Commission Mechanism. It was agreed to work on a trade and business delegation headed by the Malaysian Foreign Minister to visit Sri Lanka in the coming months.
