Sri Lanka Telecom powers CA Sri Lanka with lead sponsorship for 2016

The country’s leading integrated telecommunication services provider, Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) has once again powered the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) with a lead sponsorship, supporting the institute’s activities for 2016 and 2017. 

SLT’s continuing support to the national accounting body is a strong endorsement of SLT’s confidence in the professional development activities carried out by CA Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka Telecom PLC Chairman P.G Kumarasinghe Sirisena said, “Sri Lanka Telecom has partnered with CA Sri Lanka for several years now since we truly appreciate their commitment and outstanding contribution towards developing the accountancy profession in Sri Lanka.”

Kumarasinghe Sirisena said that as the leading ICT solutions provider in the country, Sri Lanka Telecom is committed to uplift Sri Lanka through the provision of innovative ICT solutions to empower businesses as well as the public sector. “Therefore, it is truly a privilege for us to partner with them once again and provide our support as the lead sponsor for this year as well,” he added.

CA Sri Lanka President Elect Lasantha Wickremasinghe welcoming SLT onboard as a lead sponsor, noted that it was truly encouraging to see the continuing support of the country’s leading telecommunication provider, SLT. 

“CA Sri Lanka has always valued SLT’s support and we look forward to a mutually beneficial partnership which will help enhance the professional standards in accountancy in Sri Lanka,” he added.
